ytd vj had a dinner cg!jasmine and apinun joined us and superd generous hanyun treated us to this jap restaurant at revenue house! ITS AWEZOMMEE.just that i wasnt quite satisfied cause i didnt have my fill of wasabiiii.but stilL, thank you so much H-A-N-Y-U-N!or rather, my shepherd shepherd.HAHA.

today went to hc gender cg!gender cg is always so splendid! i thought fungmin teaching was really speaking to me and the birthday surprise is still as touching. finally got to talk a little with my spiritual butt and thanks for the prayer! i dunno what wrong with me today but i couldnt seem to pray verbally fluent today.seok!LETS RLY CATCH UP SOON!I got so much stuff i wanted to tell you today but i didnt have the opportunity to:( oh myzzzzz.PLEASE GIVE ME SOME TIME SOON DARLING.

yes, back to my bomb. i just thought these few days i was rly getting moody and definitely not right. i m so desperate to find the cause of all these. for no reason i just felt that everyone looked pissed and unfriendly suddenly then i dont dare to talk to them: which totally wasnt the case at all. i think i m slowly building up my own world inside my mind, the kind of world i want to live in. this is bad cause i think i tend to daze so much i m beginning to SEE myself living in that world. which means everything i see and interpret in my mind doesnt happen in reality at all. in other words, i m imagining my virtual world has become reality and just absorbed into my virtual world.

BUT up till this point, i swear i m still TIFEN AND IM ALRIGHT.just that my mood is getting my mind a bit warped.

hello dudes and dudettes(hopefully its spelt correctly) i m blogging with a super bad mood now which meansthis post could be quite boring.

so my sister is back on fri. i decided to be nice and rush down to airport to await for her return. she brought home super lots of stuff and some are really useless stuff:at night i was so bored i decided to sms seline to come out with me. so we had budget supper at miss clarity cafe.SUPER BUDGET.had a good talk as usual. and oh yea!finally saw Mr H. but ppl who thinks he's hot please look at my mr wang chuan yi frst.HE'S THE REAL HOT STUFF(:

ytd was an eventful day and i m happy. cause i have spent more time dwelling in God's presence! attended the first and last ESS cause i m a victorian. brought ben tay and youzhe and youzhe converted! really happy for him but he looks blur about everything. then after that youzhe's friend, yan shan, joined us and we went shopping a bit then played pool. i really think my skills improved k.JO!I IMPROVED!:D then we were quite late so decided to cab down to riverlife church instead. big meritus orange, van ong, yongcheng were alr waiting for us there. but the zai thing is we managed to reach on time! nubian gents is a black american christian dance group and i must say they are totally fab. i like the christian songs they played too!i felt their passion for God, really. they dance for God. they sing for God. thank you van for inviting me!

today is one of the very few family days we had since eons. i guess it was still heart-warming.
i stupidly hurt my toe while taking escalator. i swear i wasnt oogling at any handsomez.

HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY!I just packed my room which took me whole 2 hrs plus! it is sooo ready for a revamp ALL DONE/DESIGNED BY ME.100 % tifen's effort plus 7% my mum's help! hahahaha!this is in line with the ridiculous GST hike. if it is gonna rise up to 10%, i would just plead my mum to migrate to australia! YES YES I M SO GONNA DO IT!

actually, i felt quite guilty after the whole day. the night before, i was so sad cause i thought no one is gonna celebrate my birthday with me. as i have told a few ppl, i have arranged to meet all my darlings throughout my birthday bash that i dont have anyone to celebrate with me on my birthday!at first i thought if i go for a spa it will be quite cool and it shows how secure i am!hahaha!but it turned out that i m sad about it.furthermore the only planned thing i know is my Gp tuition and it got me even more depressed. in the end, it turned out that my birthday was really full of lovely and happy surprises!thank you everyone really! i shall specially mention 3 ppl names here.
1. chong kwee fa and tan hak sia! they have sponsered this pampered kid of theirs lots and lots of MONEYYYY for her one week big bash!
2. MY DADDY THE KING! God has really spoilt me. He showered me with lots of love that i know i dont deserve at all. He blessed me so much through His people. i was once surrounded by satan, depression, tears, fear, nightmares, dirt. now, i have returned to His arms and i can be refreshed everyday, at any moment. Because God is a forgiving God, God is a God who provided unconditional love, care and concern. for how many times he cleansed my heart body soul thru and thru and affirm me that i will be all right as long as i am willing to stay in His arms, be an obedient child of His. today, i m surrounded with joy, love, happiness. What can be better than a life like this. though there may be quality tests from Him every now and then but so what! He will mould me, make me, prune me and i will pass all the tests with flying colours! and you will be surprised it is during the tests you felt the much care and concern. after the tests, you will be prouder to be a little christ(:

stayover at elaine's! it was a night of heartfelt talks, a night of silent fun and joy. we may not have done any wild stunts but the talk itself IS A JOY. and i m glad i did treasure that few hours of time limit we are given. we tried to keep ourselves awake and talk till we had enough for the night. i throw out all my worries and sorrows. my fear and happniess. cause its elaine, i never had to hide anything in front of her, i talk to my heart's content, i talk till i drop dead,i talk till worries become a speck of dust which flew off with the wind. thank you so much elaine, and i've got much more to share the next time we meet again(:

yes i met up with mad and cassiepoo! we had dinner at dino, drinking at liquidkitchen(a bar. omg a bar), laughter and more laughter. i dont remember any minute we spend together without laughing or smiling at all. both of them just had to be crappy and irritating that i cant help but smile till my cheek cramp. yes, they are my friends i know at age 17, and we will be friends till the end of the earth. thank you darlings(:

good morning wo de peng you men!:D my mood is really good today! why?cause i m refreshed by God's words yesterday! tifen is happy happy happy:D:D

shall sum up what i did from last tues!
tues-- it was a 6 hours paper day. MATH + CHINESE LANG= PRICE OF A CAR PLUS 7% GST.ok. my point is.....IT IS SOOOO TIRING, DRAINING. during the chinese paper i felt like i can just die on the spot anytime and the cause would be--TOTAL DEPLETION OF BRAIN JUICES.cool eh! then after that i looked at my phone and i see seline's sms!for some reason i m a bit perked up then rushed down to novena to meet her! we were supposed to study but HAHA. it became a rambling session instead. and because of tifen the whizz kid, we took the wrong bus and had to cab down for gp tuition in the end.YES. THE NEXT DAY MY PAPER WAS MAFFFFFF.

wed--the mafffff paper left me so dumbfounded after it. it was like SHOCKING. but i think God granted me the best wisdom i deserve. last yr SEC FOUR i didnt finish 50 marks for my amath mid yr paper. and it happens again! so i m not deproving BUT IMPROVING since i m J1 now(: must say i really felt like cryin again after it. but i m just like a lost girl trying to hold back her tears. after that went for lunch with some classmates at popeye(changi airport) spent lots of time slacking. and i could see that we were ON ECSTASY. tickled by little things easily.haha. insane insane insane. studied at secret corner with jiajia after that(: and BECAUSE PRINCESS T REFUSED TO STAND ON BUS, we took a random bus out of changi airport, cross the bridge, and take 858! cause 858 will loop at changi airport.HAHA.smart t!(:

thurs-- chem was MIRACULOUSLY the best paper of the whole exams. i m shocked by my calmness during exams too. despite the hiccups during mcq--10 mins left for 15 mcq.pro?DEFINITELY(: was packing my bag outside the hall when shanti come running after me and asked me if i wanna go out with gav and her!SO I HAPPILY AGREED!but just for lunch and shopping at raffles city ok! ate new york new york! we kept koping candy floss like nobody's business.haha. then i decided to take a bus home so that i can have a good sleep! yesssss.the bus trip is 1 hour 15 mins! i did have a good nap without DROOLING.accomplishment Ms/Mr/Mrsssssss(:had a goodtalk with you and thanks for all the encouragement(:

fri-- CHINESE LIT PAPER! yes. this is the second half of my H2 CHINESE LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE PAPER which will take 6 hours in total(: HAPPY?DEFINITELY. mug thru the night the previous night and i just felt hypnotised during the paper. out of 7 qns, i tried by best to answer 5 of them! ya now why? there's 1 qns i purposely left out cause got no time to study. 1 qns i dont even know its tested.HAHA.so i've got so much time i just sleep a while... go toilet wash my facee....for the first time of all my lit papers i actually have the chance/PRIVILEDGES to do these stuff meant for either too pro ppl or too fast ppl. God is working in me! then went home and out to nissin company!had a nice 1 hr interview with the manager and took lots of funny pics. were given 3 weeks supply of instant noodles after that! rushed down to meet yingling at marina square and shopped around! it marks the first day of my one week burfday big bash! the B cube plan(: bought stuff for myself and had dinner with yingling and chialing at kenny rogers! they got a surprise mini celebration for me at starbucks and chialing now owe me one last surrpsie(:

sat--oh my god its service!tracy happily turned down the date which left me VERY BU SHUANG!OHHHH MAANNNNN.i felt so insecure because of her la!:( she's always dao-ing my smses or turning down dates. WHY LIKE THAT?BACKSLIDE LA!HAHAHAH.GOD!ITS HER FAULT! [EVERYONE POINTS FINGER AT TRACY](:(:(:(:so i stole her sheep to go out andhave lunchdate with me instead.talked a lot with chilli ping and i m happy!forced her to help me choose a perfume at sasa then off we went for service! pastor ben does make a good start for the end of exams. his dressng is always WOW! went eating and shopping with madeline after that and we did have a good time catching up. cass didnt turn up! i m angry ok! u better not be absent on fri again! cause tifen really do miss you a lot a lot!and to madeline!i love you!thanks for making it such a wonderful night for me and i m really glad i got to know u in ceejay(: last thing to end the day--a shirt that shouts ALL OF US SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!how cool can it be?! it is totally designed for tifen!

yup. i m really glad i survived thru yesterday till today.cause almost everyone finished their papers ytd and even those who take H1 chinese dont need to study.so cheena kiddos like me seems like the only ones mugging yesterday when ppl are having fun out there. HOW HEART WRENCHING. but i really thank those who have encouraged me and prayed for me. this period i must say, have been a test to me. test on how much i trust God. christians out there, how many times have you prayed constantly in times of weariness, inconfidence, before exams, facing ridiculous papers? i m proud to say i have prayed constantly, and He is always on my mind! just that i think my times of insecurity and inability to take full control of my emotions this period must have disappointed Him much much still. but thank God for sending His people to constantly remind me He will make a way. xie xie ni men! and oh yea! within this week, i have eaten sakae sushi, popeye, new york new york, kenny rogers, chicken essence everyday!i guess God has also bless me with such good foods to help me survive thru this tormenting week. thank you daddy!

first frontier-- supposedly a 4 days 3 nights camp but i can only make it for 2 days! nevertheless, it has been a fruitful one! credits goes out to my dearest shepherd chuachialing of course and my big big daddy! why?course tifen chose to be sick at the wrong time! well, sumhow i think God purposely chose to make me so sick! i really really felt the sincere care and concern offered by chialing. thank you so much so much shepherd(: tifen really loves you! and of course a big MUACKS goes out to my daddy in heaven! you have touched me from within and assured me much much of my future walk with you. i wanna walk closer and closer to you Lord. i will never want to stray away from You anymore. cause i cant imagine myself going thru life again without you, things will just get out of hand in my hand. but it will always be perfect in ur hands.i strongly believe so.(: my 3 objectives for this camp are

HELLO.
first day of exams and its bad. i tried my best to hold back my tears. but it just flowed when i was on the phone with my dear shepherd chialing. thank Lord for my sisters, especially yingling and chialing, for really trying their best to let me feel more family warmth in the east. thank Lord for giving me such an understanding shepherd whom i can be very open about whatever i m thinking. thank Lord for aloysious who has been a very understanding and caring brother in christ.

How u came to know God?
Under the influence and coercing of my bro (kidding!), i came to hope for the first time when i was in pri 5 and received christ on 23 dec 1998! haha. but then my mum and dad didn't allow me to attend church. thereafter, my parents banned my bro from bringing me to church again. but my bro secretly brought me to hope again when i was in sec one, even though i was constantly psycho-ed at home to never become a christian, i said yes to Jesus again. and so that's why i am here. HAHA.

Who has inspired u the most?
My bro.
Why?
Cos he's my bro! haha. people often say that it's very easy to be nice to everyone when you are outside but people often reveal their fangs when they are at home. for the consistency shown in his life at home and even outside home. for the many times he chose to stand firmly by GOd's principles even when my parents gave us a real hard time. for being my ministry-problems-consultant most of the times. for being a great support in the family. for teaching me so many things about growing my ministry, being a better sister at home, being a better salt and light at home, loving my parents and all. for really being someone whom i can always look up to as a role model in my life. and for loving me and bringing me to come and know God, he has to win the most inspiring person award in my life! =)

How u came to know God?
Back in my sec 2 year. I was having CCA in school one day, while my roomate was waiting for me at the basketball court. A bunch of St Andrews people from Hope approached him and he received Christ on the spot. It happened miraculously considering that we used to make jokes out of Christians and Christianity and that day was the only time my roomate ever visited that particular basketball court. I was rather taken aback by his decision so i went to the church to see for myself. And the result is right here. yours sincerely.

Who has inspired u the most?
Got to be Dennis Loh. He is the second current shepherd of mine. Much of what i know came from him (so blame him for all the irritating things i might do). Inspired by him because he is a man who had faced real life problems and lived to passed on what he knows. Very capable too when it comes to things outside the norms. If you know what i mean.

How u came to know God?
I was on my way to a camp in Dec'03. So i met Jac while waiting for my friend in Tampines Mall. She invited me to a christmas party on the 24th, so i went for the service. I guess it was God's plan... I was praying that someone would invite me to a christmas party even when i wasn't a christian yet..hahha! but to why i converted i really cant recall..perhaps is that touch from God that encouraged me to take the step of faith! Now i can say proudly that I live a fruitful and purposeful life!!yay!^^

who has inspired u the most?
Many people has inspired me throughout this few years of walk with God.
One of them is Tookta. I got to know her when i went over to khon khaen for Thai camp. She's a very sacrificial leader. Not only that, She has lots of wisdom for dealing with situations. I was touched by the way she lead and how she love her members in the unit.

What's ur love Language?
Quality time and gifts....wanna know what's not in my ranking list? Touch... haha... still in the process of developing this love language! haha!

The most embarassing moment?
haha... i can compile into a few books with all those embarrassing incidents! hmmm.... the only vivid one that i can remember was when i was performing for church games drama. I was wearing a cape to act like some starwar character. i mistook the curtain as the wall and lean against it, and guess what?! i fell lor... the people around wanted to help but i was a 'lil shy..so i rejected them. but because i step onto my own cape... i took a long time to get up, so in the end i went up stage in a rush and forgot my mike! haha!

How u came to know God?
God called me since I was 3. Accepted Christ as a kid and backslided when I was Pri,6. However, I re-dedicated my life to God in YHope when I'm a sec 4 gal in St. Hilda's Sec, thanks to my very persistent classmate (who's my good pal) , Jacquelyn Tan whom I rejected for 3yrs!! God spoke to me urging me to come HOME and find a place I truly belong. Thus, I found Hope. =)

er too many?! I'm a LILL horse-face. OK CORRECTION, M_ _ _ _Y-face. er e more embarassing moments recently was e district outing @ ECP where my bunch of puny gals DRAGGED n CARRIED the not-so-small me, pinning me to the ground to 'suffer' their not-so-successful TAU POK. Apparently they forgot i'll ZHAO GENG, in front of soooo many ppl!! PIANGSS!! =X

Come on baby! High time East A grow into a SUB-DISTRICT or better still, DISTRICT man! We have sooo much potential & capacity to do that so I don't believe if we're humble and desperate enough, God won't use us! Throw in ya 1000% and continue to support ur CL & future SDL (smirks!) Past times: there really isnt much time to pass time. hmm but i often daydream. the most sinful one would be tv. and i really love reading books but really no time!
Funny habits: funny or weird? hmm. okay. the tv is my company at night when i do my work. my table is too messy for me to even put a book on the table. so i study on my bed. i don't actually watch the tv, but the ppl inside the tv accompany me throughout the night. so the tv is always switched on. the radiation has probably spoilt quite a big part of my brain. another one is that no one, including myself, can sit on the bed, unless ur butt is clean. i also dont open my room window becos pasir ris has really weird insects. (editor: wow.. so cute..hahah!)

How u came to know God?
It started out at the end of 2002. Dolphin evaxed to my frens and i. but i really hated christians then. so i rejected her invitation. then in ard may or june in 2003, my cousins, huikoon and soonyeow started asking me to go to church. huikoon shared to me about god, but i didnt say anyth. during that period, 2 girls from another church approached me and shared the bridge diag to me at toa payoh. when i was home, i thot that maybe god was calling for me to accept him. (editor:ultimately God still caught up with you! haha!) then there was once when another cousin, pearlene, said that i was a procrastinator. i wanted to prove her wrong so i went to the service. i didnt understand anyth during the svc. but i guess god put my hand up for me. and here i am!

Who has inspired u the most?
There isnt anyone who inspired me the MOST. it's more of like a few who impacted my life thru small ways. for eg, gwen was my unit leader and she wrote me notes and everyth. so to me, i felt very touched at that time. haha. then yuqian was also one who showed me how to be really sociable. she also helped to bond the cchms grp tgr at tt time. hmm shan rui also inspired me quite bit. haha. becos she is so diligent and i am so not! and i wna take the spirit of diligence from her! but lastly, God still inspires me the most! ha.

What's ur love Language?
I think it's quality time first, followed by acts of service. hmm. and i think gifts too!

The most embarassing moment in the last 1 year?
The truly embarrassing ones cannot be shared i think. but also cannot rmb alr. hmm there was one last yr. more of guilty-embarrassed kinda way. i didnt know how to ans a qn during tuition. the tuition class was over 40ppl. then the teacher said sth like,"i can't help u all if u all dnt help urself." i wasnt a good grade student so i felt really bad. then immediately, my metal pencil case dropped on the floor and everyone turned and looked at me. i was shaken with fear so i didnt dare pick up my pencil case.

Treasure this time in East A and in ur schools and really spur one another on in this race. be the best within urself and fulfill what god wants us to do- fulfill the great commission! god will make us grow no matter what cos it is a promise from god! count ur blessings, thank god in all circumstances and you will really grow so much more in god!

I'm not going to say things like "4 JCs 4 Jesus", "Give your life to God" or things like that.(although i've just said it) (editor: lame...!) the encouraging words that i want to say to u ppl are : when u're serving god like mad on earth, be sure that u yourself are not disqualified for the prize. serve God with the right attitude. i think it's gonna be so lame if u work so hard to extend God's kingdom but in the end God says "Who Are you?"

How u came to know God?
I actually converted during Sec 1 in AHS, then backslided cause it was a chinese church. haha!! then when i came to J1, i was super enthu during orientation, became a fellow ogl with chew ying lin who brought me to hope! i pangseh him one time (lee ruiqi converted that week), but the next week i came and was touched by GOD!!!! haha. what's funny was that i was brought down to altar call for those who want to be a CL!! (editor: God always has a great plan for us even when we don't know him well..right? Amen?)

Who has inspired u the most?
eh, difficult to pinpoint one!
1) the East A leaders, because all work very differently, but caught alot of learning points from them. Because of their passion for God, i want to strive harder together with them.
2) pastor ben!! powerful and visionary man of God, who's sermons or teachings never fail to impact me

The most embarassing moment in the last 1 year?
last 1 year?? too many to count man!! eh, very vivid one was....falling off the bus during morning peak time, picture this: half of my body on the kerb, legs still on the bus steps. Almost fainting due to impact, i couldnt get up and was just lying there.(editor: i can only laugh..HAHA! it's really funny!!) AND people kept continuing alighting the bus all the while staring at me. UNHELPFUL PPLE!!!!

JC years really past very fast, but it's important not to get too stressed and too caught up in trying to achieve!! As we invest in God's kingdom, God will take care of us, and it's worthwhile to do so, amen? =)) Each JC to hit unit size! man, is it exciting or what! Let's go, east a! let's honour God together!
